Never make the mistake of calling Sedbergh a village! It may only have 3,000 inhabitants, but they are proud of its status as a long-established market town. Not everything is unchanging, though. During the past few years, businesses have come and gone, and several shops on Main Street have been refurbished, as these photos reveal.
