Sedbergh has, since 2006, been a market town without a livestock market. These pictures were taken on 1st April 2006, just three weeks before its sudden closure. The old Auction Mart in Station Road, featured here, has since been sold for redevelopment, but local farmers are hoping to re-establish the market on a new site.
