Churches, chapels and meeting-houses of many shapes and sizes exist in and around Sedbergh. George Fox visited the town and, as a result, it has an important place in the history of Quakerism. The buildings featured here are the Parish Church of St Andrew, the redundant St Gregory Vale of Lune (now cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust) and Brigflatts Quaker Meeting House (built 1675, still in regular use).
